there will always be con artists waiting to take in the foolish.

keeping people from the watchtower doesn't assure they just won't fall for something else.

providing an example by building a life for yourself is by far a

more successful strategy for helping others do the same.

I'd prefer to use a baseball bat first, and then do the things you mentioned. Unleash the fury!

I don't want to be kind to myself! I want to abuse myself! HA

good advice though other than that one!

i guess it comes down to personal experience. i left because i wanted

to improve my life not because of anything i knew about the Watchtower

    society.

I found the best way to beat it is with a big pointy stick.

    Joel,

That's good that you want to improve your life, I wish you great sucess but don't try to pawn off the idea that this is the way to beat the WT, it sound too self serving. What you really should just come out and say you want that and it is more important to you than trying to beat the WT. That to me is much more truthful.

no need to attack me. we are simply at different places in

the ex-watchtower cycle. anger is part of the cycle, so

is moving on and spending time on other things. there

are people here in both and other parts of the cycle. i don't

spend a lot of time here, but am glad JWD exists for

all of us. my concept of beating the watchtower is about

each of our personal internal battles with the watchtower
and what it has done to us. we beat the watchtower by
not letting it consume us, but by having a great life. i think a big part of it is that i see all organized religion as a scam, not just the Watchtower, i don't really distinguish them as being any worse than Catholicism, Baptists or anyone else. they all rob people of their money, time, and self worth. are monks any better off than Circuit Overseers? i wish you nothing but peace. live long and prosper

    take care

    Joel
