It has to be the truth because of the huge increase. Joe Hoba is really making it grow in these end times.

Or ....Oh no, could it be that the numbers of bible studies are down because it truly is the time of the end and the ark door is beginning to close! (A JW brain in denial)

I know Im preaching to the chior here, but did you ever realize the JW have every base covered. For instance, If the numbers look like they are climbing, they quote the scripture "a small flock will become a mighty nation". If the numbers are down they Quote the scripture, " the love of the greater number will fall away in those last days". - this is a loose paraphrase of the quotations, but Im sure you all know what Im talking about.

Just a side note, alot of times I would either forget or wouldnt send in my feild service report to the service overseer. It would always be funny, I wouldnt go to the kingdom hall or book study, but yet they'd call to get my time, Id always make up some wild numbers but I always had over 10 hours. (NOT)

I completely forgot that parents could count their children as a bible study! And since at least half the children leave... LOL! they aren't growing, are they?

Why is it that we all know that these stats are pure garbage (as opposed to the pure language), yet we make sure that we look at them anyway? (At least *I* do!)

I think every witness in the local hall was at the prison counting time. They have this big visitation area there, and I swear there were 50 witnesses in there. All with Bible and another witness publication in tow

Now that's what I call a "captive" audience!

Those of you going to the meeting this week - if anyone is the householder (20 minute presentation -- opus III) maybe the objection could be -

"Why have the Witnesses received so much negative publicity ALL OVER THE WORLD of late?"

What a brain dead syllabus! They should pay people to sit through the pablum.

More were baptized at Pentecost (in one day) than a whole year of U.S. activities. There's good reason - the media is slamming these AntiChrists for their deeds (screw the works - they're not working)!

Not to change the subject, but this Sunday I visited a NY congreg. And besides 5 young ones the rest were old. I started talking, and it seems that out of all of them only 1 child that passed 18 remained in the truth...................... THE REST LEFT

At pentecost (acts 2:41-42) about 3,000 were added that day. Perhaps that is only the men and women and younger ones weren't counted, I don't know. But, the couple thousand baptized I put in my post represented only the U.S. and only the month of March 2004. Last year about 30,000 were baptized in the U.S.

Although It's obvious that the numbers are falling and the dropout rate is increasing
