By giving more attention to the year 2034 they create a lot of time to come up with a better plan. I think that maybe some JW's have some feeling about 2014 but when put enough emphasis on the 120 years of preaching, the attention will shift.

Since I missed leaving during the whole 1995 generation change, perhaps there will be another big change coming about 1914 and I can act all disgusted and lose my faith over it and get out while appearing to be the poor dimwitted victim who just doesn't get it.
They will not drop 1914. They will strip it of all meaning concerning the end of the system. They will focus on (have already started) on the signs more and more.
The only defense against that is to educate people about history and ask them what century they would rather have lived in.

When looking for this sketch, I came across the one where Jesus is on the "stake" next to the criminal, and I had to laugh !!!
From the looks of the sketch it looks like the criminal is saying..."Hey Jesus, when this is over, how about going for a couple of beers"?

Everything has come to pass. Since Aprils 2008 WT study.. Praise to Hamstergod.
Except undermining belief that Christ "came" in 1914.
I predict that they will "reinterpret" the meaning of coming. ( After all in the early 70s, they said Christ had "come" in 1914)
Yet the Gospel says "when you see these things he IS NEAR" ( not arrived)
The WT still says"keep on the watch" because we do not know when the Master is ARRIVING.
Currently the WT claims Christ "comes" 7 times. (In different capacities) I hesitate to think of Porn.
On Page 137 of the Proclaimers Book, they already say (a lie) that the Bible Students "came to discern that Christ did not return to the viscinity of the Earth (even invisibly) in 1914."
Does this also bring with it the claim that Satan was not cast down to the viscinity of the earth at that time??

I have been saying that 1914 is dead, just not buried. I think they absolutely have to alter/change it before 2014. It will be gradual. HB, what you point out could be the beginning.
I think it will be history before 2011, 2012 tops.
