How can COs & DOs Sabotage The Organization and Not Come Under the Scrutinay of the Service Department?

I'm sure there are many COs & DOs that know the GB are liars but may be stuck in the work at the present, and so this thread is devoted to thing you can do to deliberately sabotage the control that the Organization has over the friends.

While this threat has great potenial for humour lets see if we can share some ideas that double agents might use effectively.

I would like to suggest they could give strong warning about reading apostate books at assemblies maybe one way.

They could make statements like: "many libraries have books written by apostates" and then give the titles of some of R Franzs books stateing that he is a disgruntled former Governing Body member, that should picque the curiousity on many, then they could even say that those who read such books will eventually get DF'd that should cause many to be even more curious. Make it harsh sounding and authoritarian.

Pass the book by Raymond Franz, "Crisis of Conscience" to all the congregations.

They can unite and become apostates with us.

They can cancel the District conventions.

They can collect the new releases and recycle them.

They can give the attendants different directions & watch the confusion.

They can all have a big birthday party!

They can go out of their way not to shun the Df's/DA's. Let them be first in line for everything. Welcome them to all the meetings.

I know these aren't as good as I'm sure will be posted. Been awake too long.

If there are any in the ranks of the CO and DO's they are few. To be appointed a CO or a DO you have to meet with a member of the GB and be appointed. My experience is that most are arrogant, self-righteous and real company men. They have no life and if they left the work, most have nothing in the way of accumulated wrealth or something to go to, so they stay. I think that many of them were in the legions of office cleaners/pioneers and couldn't function well without the freebies and the dubs kissing up. With that said, I think the ones that see the Organization for what it is could do much in a subtle way in personal one-on-one discussions with people. Many dubs want private face time with them, and during thoes discussions (no witnesses) could mention things that start poeple searching. References to the internet would be best because there is so much out on th net at present on the WTS, that in a short period of time people will become informed.

Most COs/DOs face the same issues elders do but on a higher level. I'm sure many an elder that became a CO was not prepared to the behind the scenes politics despite the politics on many elder bodies. COs and DOs who are sincere get worn down by the unkindness and unloving acts they see and the ones they are pressured to do.

Many take the same road that elders do, they opt out, making some excuse, bad health, their wife's bad health, looking after aging parents, etc.

The circuit I was last in has had 5 first-time COs in a row. One of those 5 has already dropped off the list.

I don't see these men acting behind the scenes to sink the ship. I see them getting off the ship because it is already sinking.

    Blond,

Yeah but in the process of leaving the work perhaps these new ones can give the Organization a good kick in the ass before they finally leave.

But don't forget you have many older ones who have many years in the work and are just finding out thru the internet that it is a cult, certainly they can do a lot of damage in very subtle ways.

    How?

Post confidential letters and documents on the internet - as long as they don't identify you.

Give 'left-handed' comments in meetings - example: talk about how the Society is being 'bled white' by lack of contributions.

but we're still loyally giving and giving........

Become so extreme as to wreck entire congregations - while appearing to be "superloyal" - this worked in Nazi Germany

and Communist nations. Remove the hardest working elders and let congregations collapse.

Watch and take note of various comments made by C.O.'s about how the organization is quietly declining - losing

contributions, young Witnesses, and so on. You may be seeing a discreet rebellion against the Watchtower hierarchy.

The Governing Body is stuck with the dilemma that they can't directly address the organization's growing internal

problems without admitting that serious decay is setting in. When a member of the Governing Body admits

that pornography is a serious problem in the organization, you are confronted with the perception that they " are w-a-y

b-e-h-i-n-d the curve" in regard to the rot that exists. They are worried - but don't want to talk about it because open

admissions could wreck the organization. How many Witness parents would give up if they honestly knew the

statistical futility of "trying to raise kids in the truth"? - for example.

very nicely put blondie... there seems to be a lot of substitute CO's lately from what i hear... also the CO for my mother's hall is in his early 30's, so they're getting younger and younger. i remember when you would never see a CO under 50... and im only in my mid 20's, so before i was born they were probably all over 100!!!

it's like an old politician's trick: by acknowledging your opposer's issues you are acknowledging that something is wrong.

CO's may come in contact with sincere doubters. They could discreetly direct them to Franz's books for example by making statements like

"You know Brother, some have become so discouraged by the problems you see that they have felt obligated to leave due to conscience. Raymond Franz used to be a member of the Governing Body, then he let his thinking get in the way and out he went. I have even seen his books for sale to this day on the internet and in some bookstores. I guess people like that are better off, rather than to be so discouraged all the time." Then in a whisper, "If I was so troubled as some get I would check out what he had to say. Understand, I am not reccomending that!" Wink-wink.
