. What type of questions did you pose that got you in trouble?
there were many and the looks and stares from co and do and fellow elders as well as "pullling me to the sade" afterwards telling me to leave such issue alone, etc it becomes very clear
but just to give you an example-
i was the circuit acct overseer- i would come home with $12-15,000 in my brief case to deposit on monday
well most jw don't know why the circuit always seems to be in the RED- it has to do with the way the wt back charges the circiut- the wt gives a per pub cost - now how this works is interesting
the assembly hall overseer-- the guy who lives there-- was a buddy of mine --so we got to discussing the coss to run a weekend program
and when he told me almost fell out- you see the hall is only used on sat and sunday, during the week there is little if any activity going on other than in their offices
so let me show you how it works and how i got into trouble,
i get there at 630am sat am, meet with the assemhalloverseer, he gives me the society rate to be charged -
1000 pub @$11.00pc so at 630 you are already $11,000 in debt and the doors have not even opened- smile
co expenses $500
do expenese $500
bethel speaker and wifes tickets $400
miscl $1000
so you already got 13,000+ indebt-
during the sat program the do and co would have me constantly giving them the latest tally-
during the sat meeting with the elders the vote would be taken to send anything leftover to wt INSTEAD of keeping some funds for seed money at the next assembly, many elders challenged this process for typically NOTHING was kept not even $5 for the next assembly
we were told "Send the money to MAMA"
it was this type of peer pressure that would make any elder who got out of line fall back into line
much like when a resolution is taken at the hall- NO ONE every says they disagree and why not -- for fear of how they will be viewed, so much for open and free conscience decisions
ok back to the accouting system- now keep in mind we are talking about 4 weekends at $10-15,000 a week
that is $40,000 to 60,000 a month,
no assembly hall montage is that much-smile
now the kicker is it was anounced that we had paid off our assembly hall, so being the accounts servant dumb me, i asked the question would we get a Reduced per publisher rate- WRONG question!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
the DO lite into my black behind like white on rice-yet so many elders approched me privately and agree, but when i asked why didn;t yousay something then, they all were afraid
and i am talking not about some rank and file flunky- city overseer, HLC members, regional building committee members, etc, major local players- - yet not one would risk losing thier part on the district conventrion-
and i could go on and on, when you were like me, you got to see more behind the scene matters and it became clear it had nothing to do with god or right and wrong-
Are you still a member or are you df'ed? Or did you just drift out to sea like me?
we faded in fact i wrote back to request my pub card and letter of intro, i was the sec in my old hall so i knew how to structure the letter and had it sent to a friend who sent it back tome
and yes they dogged me and my wife

I'll tell you something which I believe you might concur with. Since many of the jw's that took the doctrines to heart have left I believe you may see a blander org where its members wont be so inquisitive to know things or get to the essence.

Also since the annointed at the GB will disappear the strength that the org had for all intensive purposes will vanish.
#### and for that reason they are taking step right now to replace the gb with the given ones- see how they have removed all gb from any office holding positions in the org, in 2000 they setup 5 separate companies to protect assets, it was a brillant move i must say

I was talking to my father (active gung ho witness for over 40 years) about his opinions from what he sees. He told me he just sees the brothers going thru the motions. Kind of like catholics at mass. That generation change really shook things up.

so true the generation dogma is why i left, i used to carry in my brief case the may 15-84 wt i used it in a talk all the time
"The gen that will not die out" is the cover page, with the stroke of a pen they discarded a major dogma and then blamed the rank and file for beliving it- smile
as of today i have helped 57 persons out of the org, not only out, but to fully understand what they were a part of- many leave and never know what they were a part of and end up going back
i used to run an outreach in my home, we avg about 20-30 folks month- you mentioned that folks are mad as hell, well consider most folks when they realize they have been Bamboozled and Hoodwinked
most folks would be a little peeved- for me it was somewhat different, READ MY BIO online
i was fortunate to at least have first hand exp with the "MAN Behind the Current"
for the avg jw around the world they have no idea of what takes place behind the curtain and sad to say many DONT want to know- they perfer living in a dream world
