It does not cost anything to be myself
I was put on the spot to pick a name and I chose from one of my favorite songs. I love John Mayer....I know lots of teeny bopper girls love him...but I love his music amongst a ton of others. It just fits me.
"Why Georgia"
I am driving up 85 in the
Kind of morning that lasts all afternoon
just stuck inside the gloom
4 more exits to my apartment but
I am tempted to keep the car in drive
And leave it all behind
Cause I wonder sometimes
About the outcome
Of a still verdictless life
Am I living it right?
Am I living it right?
Am I living it right?
Why Georgia, why?
I rent a room and I fill the spaces with
Wood in places to make it feel like home
But all I feel's alone
It might be a quarter life crisis
Or just the stirring in my soul
Either way I wonder sometimes
About the outcome
Of a still verdictless life
Am I living it right?
Am I living it right?
Am I living it right?
Why Georgia, why?
So what, so I've got a smile on
But it's hiding the quiet superstitions in my head
Don't believe me
When I say I've got it down
Everybody is just a stranger but
That's the danger in going my own way
I guess it's the price I have to pay
Still "everything happens for a reason"
Is no reason not to ask myself
If I am living it right
Am I living it right?
Am I living it right?
Why Georgia, why?
My real name Nicolas comes from the Greek and means victory of the people, the original is nicolaos from niki=victory and laos=people
The picture says it all. George Foster was a baseball player with the Reds in the 70s. He was my fav as a child - known for his black bat and pork chop sideburns. I don't even like baseball anymore, but I had a strange obsession with George Foster.
Hey Greendawn, Nicolas is one of my favorite names. If I ever had another son, that's what I would have named him.

Kenneson is English/Scotch--from son of Kenny in English or son of Conan in Scotch.
My first name is Claude and in Latin means "lame one."
I chose HappyDad because at the time I decided to fade from the borg........my daughter was doing the same and I didn't know it. Once we found out about each other, it made me the happiest dad ever.

Wow, a lot of people really put a lot of thought into their names... I'm impressed!
