Birthdays are bad because some people used them to do bad things, by the same logic it's wrong to use cameras because some people use them to produce child porn.
It's also bad because it makes a person the centre of interest lol, weddings do the same.

Thanks to everyone on behalf of my husband.
He was really happy to have his celebration the way he wanted it...Pizza and ice cream.
It's funny but he is the one who has pushed buying holiday decorations for our home and getting the Xmas tree up this year.
I've been doing it my whole life and its a bit of a hassle with 2 little ones underfoot. But he's in his element so why not! Plus its good for the kids to have these normal things.
I'm just happy that he allows these celebrations now. Our first couple of years together were really hard and extremely depressing...
Especially since I come from a family that celebrates every occasion that Hallmark makes a card for!

I just feel happy that he's come so far and doesn't see birthdays as some evil happening
It's not an easy process, coming to this point. Good for your hubby, and happy b-dy to him. Wishing you many more happy days together!
