I think one reason why they might have lot of writers is that it makes the GB feel real important. Even if most of them basically do nothing but look busy.

Three:

Writer # 1 - Makes the SH*T up

Writer #2, - Writes the exact opposite of what writer #1 wrote, and calls it new light (this is done on an 8 year cycle)

Writer #3 - re arranges the wording of what writer #1 wrote, and has it published in the form of a new release at the district convention. (also done on an 8 year cycle.)

How true, yeah it does seem that what the writing department puts out is rather generic.

Dam what a depressing job these writers must have in order to please the "geriatric" Governing Body. The whole writing department must be pretty near comatose by now, along with the rest of the GB. Mustant up set these old guys at the top and write something new and informative,, just the same old approved of mind control propaganda,, yuck!

So what happened, they didn't expect this old world to last this long and they have run out of ideas especially after the oracle uncle Freddie kicked the bucket. Their inspiring angel seems to have abandoned them.

Some people suspect that it's the WTS lawyers that are running the writing dept and the org in general.

That has also been my fascinating question, with 6 million hapless dupes hanging on every word of their mouth. That must give them an immense power (ego) trip.

Does any one know how long a bethelite writer has to prepare an article for the Awake? And what type of assignment work load they have to do say every week or month? It must take an awful lot of research to prepare one article (LOL) Jugding from how ever long it takes and how utterly dumb down these articles are I find it fasinating that some one would spend that much time putting these things together.

I seriously think that the kind of drival comming out in the WT publications these days, they could reduce thier staff of writers down to what you can count on one hand. They should assign the rest to janitorial duty for the remainder of thier stay at bethel, for health reasons they need to get off thier lazy a$$es and get some exercize.
