The menu at the drive-thru at McDonalds... is more appetizing...

Do they put ANY effort into it anymore?

I read this and I'm getting GUILT

If you are not doing a family study, or preparing as a family, why not, .. guilt ... Guilt, ... GUILT

Funny thing about guilt, ... it means "consequent liability to punishment" and "committed a crime"

My crime is: I don't go and listen to this anymore.

Where the hell do you find S43's - they won't even mail me the WT subscription any longer. Appropriate for what?

    Richie, Ezekiel-

Can you furnish us with some of these forms, so we can send them in by the truckload? Keep Crooklyn busy and they'll forget what their purpose is ....

    Witnessing Effectively in Public Places

99% of the JWs I knew including me hated business witnessing, bus stops, parking lots, street witnessing, etc, etc, etc.

The CO would show up on Saturday and announce that this was what everyone was doing and had some demos done and then started dividing up car groups. I got up and went to the rest room until everyone assigned and then slipped out the door.

I met 2 other JWs doing the same thing, escaping.

I'm glad I missed the placard era.

Well Blondie you braggerd, I didn't miss that placard era.

My mom dragged me out on the streets with that dammed placard at about 6 or 7 yrs old.

This was in the early beginnings of ww2.

You can imagine how we were greeted on the streets.

I can remember people yelling at us and one lady came up and screamed at my mom to " get that little boy off the streets. Whats the matter with you?"

I loved that woman, wanted to go home with her.
