have you guys ever heard ben harper? he plays pretty much all styles of music (and does them all really well...blues, reggae, folky, harder rock), but sometimes i'll be sittin back listening and i realize, "hey...this is like, the 5th song about jesus in a row...WTF?"
technically, i guess he's more gospely than christian rock...kind of like how you don't think of bob marley as christian music, even though he sang about jesus and stuff sometimes.
whatever...yeah, after a description like this, now no one will check out ben harper's stuff. fine, whatever...screw you guys. [goes off to the corner to pout with his jesus music.]
