Getting two timed by partner

Did you ever get two timed (or even three timed) by your spouse or boyfriend /girlfriend? Was s/he runninning around with someone else while you had no idea about it until later? And how did you find out?

This has never happened to me personally but is happening to a close friend of mine at the moment, infact her partner, who is also a close friend has 4 other women on the go, she doesn't know anything for sure but has her suspicions and now I'm in the awkward position of figuring out how to grass him up without devastating her.

I don't think anyone can really get away with cheating for long before they are found out in one way or another.

It happened to me. It shot me to pieces. She just came out and told me. I knew she was acting suspiciously so i was talking to her about her behavior when she just blurted it out. I was a mess for quite a while after that. I wish i had had the strength to walk away from her sometimes, but i didnt.

My last boy friend who'd I'd lived with for nearly 3 years kissed someone else on his birthday and so I moved out within the week.

It happened to me - I was devastated! He came right out and told me - after tripping on an X pill. I forgave him that time and tried to move on but the betrayal I felt made it so things would never be the same. Next time he was on the same thing he tried the 'true confessions' crap again ... I told him whatever it was I didn't want to hear it. It was over for me then . I pretty much knew from the first time that it would be a recurring theme in the relationship and if I found out it happened again I'd be gone anyway.

Lesson for me was if it ever happened in another relationship, not to forgive and try and forget right away ... separate - inflict punishment - make him feel guilty then BEG me to come back! If he doesn't want to go through all that then I'm better off without him.

I think my exhusband will get the "most stupid" award! I'm gonna try and make this short. We were having a few problems, especially with the kids trying to play us. A younger girl started working in the office of where he worked. I had to work a 16 hour shift one sunday. So by the time I got home he was asleep. The next day I got a phone call from this girl that I needed to see this video she had. This girl was the sister-in-law of the bitch. They were so stupid, she was able to film them going to a house. When they went inside, she went on the porch. They started going after it in the living room, all the while she's taping it thru the front window.

Talk about becoming a psychotic bitch! I really lost it for a couple months.In another thread I'll have to tell ya'll a few of the things I did and got almost even. The hell of it was, after a couple months she dumped him for guys more her age!

Crumpet, the marriage was pretty much over by then because of other issues but I still felt terribly betrayed. Someone tried to tell me he was seeing another woman and I told them that wasn't possible; we were separating amicably. It tore my daughter up. Things are ok, now, though, and my daughter is doing wonderfully. Leaving him was one of the best two things I ever did!

This is a very sensetive subject for many, you really don't know what hell is until you have been betrayed by the one you love. I had one guy do this to me when I was 19, It tore me up really good. I thought atm that getting even or hurting him *emotionally* would be good, but I soon found out that I was only torturing myself with these thoughts, the best revenge really is to get over them and be happy.
