Alas at 17 she hasn't decided whether she is gay or straight (would my mother and sister have heart attacks over that one if they knew). However there is always an abundance of young men and women hanging around here on weekends (surfers, rednecks, preps, nerds, wireheads, you name it and we've got it, variety is the spice of life).

We're an hour from the Mouse, 15 minutes from the beach, 2 1/2 - 3 hours from Miami, Jacksonville or Tampa/St Pete and have several colleges and universities within easy commute.

I applaud you for your courage. I have never been afraid to post my pics or hang out with the other apostates. If you ever make it to FL stop by for a visit.

People will sometimes will PM you to offer advice, they have been around the boards longer and may know something you and I don't or simply may be speaking from expirience.

I salute you. I was mentally free by the age of 14, but would never have had the guts to do what you do. I quietly endured 'keeping up appearances" until I moved out, went to University, got my bachelors and PhD and the rest is history...in the end, you are going to be the victor. Dont let their gestapo tactics intimidate (although I doubt there is anything that would intimidate somebody of your character and fortitude). More importantly, you are an incredible inspiration to young people who have seen through the mind control and web of lies of the borg and are looking for the courage to escape. Cheers and keep up the awesome undercover work!

Got to say I thought about the PMing thing for a couple of seconds. I was afraid you'd get busted and wouldn't be expecting it. But then I remembered how much my sons enjoyed hearing my words of wisdom and thought better of the notion. LOL
