    Richie,

We don't have wild turkeys here (only the human kind ..lol) ... do you track them, or sit in a blind?

    a chubby chaser are ya?

Well in 10 months, youll have to fight brooke, crumpet, and the other ladies...

As well as preston, and evilforce.

If you win, you can have me...

Although I'm kind of rooting for brooke to win...

ha ha ha! nice richie. i love the talons (do you call them talons on turkeys?).

hey, if you fastened the feet onto the side of a football helmet, it would make a sweet hat for any autumn football games.

what is your murdering hunting weapon of choice? i have only ever shot a .22, and i killed a squirrel. purely for game.

Tal- I track them, and then set up a blind. Then I call them in.

TS- I shoot a 12-gauge, with 3.5" magnum shells. They are the most effective in dispatching an animal. I like my benelli super black eagle, but then again a remington 870 will do just fine, as long as the choke is right...

The beard is impressive! Turkey is the only thing I haven't really hunted yet. I've called a few in for my brother-in-law, but that's it. Those magnums pack a punch it was the first gun I ever shot and it knocked me on my ass.

Go try and get yourself one! Turkey are considered some of the most difficult prey because they amazing eye sight and can detect the slightest movement.

Calling them in is the hardest part! What kind of call do you use? Me and my dad both have custom made wingbone calls that we use...

    but quit killing wittle animals

It's far more sporting, imo., to get your meat from a widdle aminal that's had a nice, natural life, rather than been rasied in a farm and genetically altered to grow to fast and fll over because it's breast is to big. I'm all for wild turkey, or buying so called "heritage" turkey''s.

No offense intended towards you and your big heart, joelbear. I admire that.

Normally I have no problem with people hunting, especially if done for food, but I am feeling a bit down on it today in the wake of our noticing a bunny rabbit scampering around our yard last night with an arrow penetrating all the way through his neck. I have no idea how he was still on his feet, but I wanted to strangle whoever put the arrow into him.

    I'm all for wild turkey

Wild Turkey is OK, but I prefer Southern Comfort...
