Let's face it----even the JWs themselves are getting tired of the rehashing and presenting the same information as "new publications", they are NOT BEING WELL FED SPIRITUALLY!

Just seeing Greendawn's thread about favorite foods, something occured to me. We can see by the lack of interest in the WTS offerings of "spiritual food" that the JWs are not lapping up those "banquets of well-oiled dishes" presented to them.

Nobody enjoys a steady diet of stale and uninteresting food ala the "WTS School of Cuisine", and the sheep are starving for something tasty that they can really sink their teeth into!

If the "Chefs" can't perform the task which they were hired for-----perhaps it's time for the sheep to leave and go find another restaurant!

Preferably one that carries Jesus' Seal of Approval!

    Bon Appetite!

    Now What,

I guess it's no surprise that no JWs showed up to a "religious freedom day," inasmuch as "freedom" is not a concept of value to those whose minds are enslaved by the Watchtower cult and their reprehensible mind control techniques. But it sounds like you had a great time; 4 hours of fireworks! I bet your lungs were burning from the sulphur fumes (said from experience!).

    Sunspot,

The picture idea is only one of many in my brain. Others must be kept confidential in order to their effectiveness. Suffice it to say, I won't go to my grave until I've delivered serious (and please note, entirely lawful) retribution to the Watchtower. I'm realizing it's the only way I'll truly rid myself of the anger that resides within me, caused in substantial part by the shitheads who run the Watchtower cult. I hope they die a million deaths, each more horrific than the last.

    Big Dog,

Thanks for the support. If everyone does something of substance, adverse to Watchtower interests, at least once a year, we can make those flood-pant wearing dopes at Bethel cringe every year when the day rolls around. If nothing else, that would be satisfying. "Mr. Big Dog, here's the sledge hammer, tear down that god damned hideous Watchtower!"

    Everyone else,

Any suggestions for a day with significance to the Watchtower? I'm going to do some research to determine the dates of incorporation of the various Watchtower corporations as a starting point.

I think this is a wonderful idea, 144!

And though July 4th is one where we hear firworks going off, I think to have our own holiday, seperate from any other country's holiday, would be great.

hmmmm, but what day? How about the day the first WT was printed? (Blondie need your expertise here! lol)

I would love to say the day of the memorial, but that changes from year to year and is soooo JWish. lol I like the idea of a set date every year. Something to call our own.

ok, enough from me, I'll think about it some more.

    One problem with that theory.

I'm still here. I have the ability to print literature based

on the Bible and teach the Bible's message to others.

Since when did you get appointed as a replacement for the FDS? Have you mentioned this to your elders for their consideration?

Sorry for the hijack. This turd is starting to get on my last nerve.

hehe Sweet analogy! I love it.

As an adult, I've been celebrating all the traditional "worldly" holidays, but although I enjoy and appreciate them, I've noticed that there's something missing. I'm beginning to understand that this "missing" feeling relates to the fact that the Watchtower corporations, and the sickening subhuman gristle that serve on their respective boards of directors, have robbed me and millions of other individuals of, among many other things, the happiness that children experience during the holidays. As an adult, I have merely "adopted" holidays, rather than having them since my birth.

I know exactly what you mean. There is that feeling of "something missing here". We do enjoy them, but how much nicer they would be if there was a lifetime of memories attached. I have vague memories of them, but they stopped at age 4, so it's a long time ago. Fortunately our grandchildren can fix it for us. For many, their children can have them too. We left when our kids were grown, but all are out now.

I searched the New York Department of State database and came up with some interesting information. Six "Watchtower" entities were registered in their database. The Watchtower Bible and Tract Society of New York, Inc., has an original filing date of March 4, 1909. Since this is the core entity for the Watchtower cult, I'm going to propose using March 4th as the official "Tear Down the Watchtower Day." Please give me some feedback as to whether this is a good choice, or whether and why some other date would be more appropriate.

Also, based on what I found on the New York Department of State database, I'm going to start another thread to provide that information and my own analysis thereof as I think it might be beneficial for all to understand the legal structure of the enemy as well as the probable rationale for it.

    to choose our own holiday

I made up a holiday about 5 years ago. It's called Turducken Day. It's held on the first weekend in January. I make a turducken, and all of the other holiday foods. We do a polyanna <sp> so all the kids get gifts. I get wrapping and stuff half off because it's after Christmas. All of my family comes to this, and our friends. It has no political or relgious reasons, it is a family day. No one has ever objected to this holiday. It gave the kids something to celebrate, look forward to, and did the same for me. Now that we left, we still kept this holiday.
