Im sorry you feel like this. I have a couple of queries tho- 1) If it strengthens your faith posting on here, why does the FDS endorse it? Or confront some of the boards arguments? 2) Have you been searching/researching for answers independantly? Or do you base EVERYTHING on the literature that the Governing Body tell you to read?

No, that is not the reason for the ministry. The reason is to make our faith stronger by

exercising it, by using it.

I think you have a twisted and selfish view of the ministry then...surely the purpose is to save other peoples faith as opposed to your own...could be the two to you are altruistic but thats not what you have said. If the WTS society suggest you go on the ministry to build your faith...why do you have to record your hours...number of mags, books placed and book studies being conducted?

You said the reason for field service is to strengthen your faith. As a witness I was taught that it was out of love for our neighbour that we go out into the minitry in order for them to come to Jahs' organisation.

You then said that you know that all of us went wrong by NOT making the truth our own. You don't know each of us personally and you are very very wrong here, but granted that is a typical witness retort.

Sometimes ones problems define them when they are caused by your beloved society.

You say you then study these dates & prophesies from the right perspective - that would be the WTBTS right???? thought so.

Please tell me the, does the WTBTS know what I need spiritually??? Please tell me does regurgitating what the society tells you to believe mean really making the truth your own??? Please tell me when one asks the elders to prove from the bible & other bibles that their beliefs are the truth & wont...what does this mean??????? Please tell me why there is a lack of love in the society???? Please tell me why the GB say they are the mouthpiece of Jehovah and yet when they "speak" they seem to get themselves so confused (over the years) And don't give me "they're only men excuse" cos so were the other prophets and they seemed to have got it right.

You see the thing is you haven't gone and examined the bible - And I mean truly examined the bible (I'm not talking preparing for the meetings or doing superficial bible reading) I mean pulling out greek versions, other versions, hebrew bibles & reading the bible with a deep desire to trully get to know Jehovah on HIS basis - not what some organisation feeds you. Does not the bible say that if you knock it will be opened, if you search you will find......In Psalms Jehovahs says that if you turn your attention to him HE WILL MAKE HIMSELF KNOWN TO YOU (not to an organisation) No where in the bible does it say that a single organisation will sprout forth and spearhead the preaching work. Besides did Jesus tell you or his deciples to preach???? Does the organisation baptise in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit???? No!!!!

I know this seems as an attack at you - it's just that I've seen the truth about the so called truth & am so relieved to be free from a cult after 29 years.

And no I haven't given myself over to all sorts of evil.

Well I do not agree much with his reasoning but I have to give hime somethnig. He has more 'balls' then most JW's have. At least he is answering question asked to him.

there is just some things I do not understand. How can you combine the JW belive with science? Since for exaple it is proved (very solid proof) that the flood never happened. How can you go out in the service and tell people i did? I had a public talk not to long ago about this subject and that is not easy to lie to the congregation about the scientific evidence.

Another question, all teachings are based on 1914. 1914 is based on 607. But there is no evidence of 607. All evidence points to 583 if I remember corerctly. The reason given by the slave for 607 is that calculation back from 1914... That is like a circle. How to explain this point?

My friend, you are very deluded if you think you can make your faith stronger by teaching a gospel that is very different than the gospel taught by the early Christians. While you probably have a relationship, that relationship is not with Jehovah or Jesus. It is a relationship that you have cultivated with the apostate WTBTS. Their own publications state this. If you don't believe it take a look at the March 1979 WT front cover and the study article associated with it. If I may I refresh your memory, it says, 'Put Faith In A Victorious Organisation". that's right, your faith is in the organisation which admits that it does not really accept what the bible says. But that is understandable when you consider 1 Corinthins 1:18 or Romans 10:9 in an accurate translation such as the NIV, NASB or HCSB. I strongly suggest that you read the books of Romans and Galatians like a book should be read. Another thing, while Christians believe in one God with 3 identities the JW's have 2 mighty Gods as evidenced in their NWT at the following scriptures: Isaiah 9:6 and Jeremiah 32:18.

Another point for you to ponder over (but don't ask an elder or you WILL be in front of a JC) is found in the WTBTS Kingdom Interlinear Translation. In the 8th chapter of John (specifically 8:24 and 58) and also at John 13:19 and John 18:5 the phrase EIGO EIMI appears which translated from Greek into English means I AM. At John 13:19, 18:5 and 8:24 the phrase is translated correctly (I AM). However, at John 8:58 the WT translators consisting of Freddie Franz, Nathan Knorr, A.D. Schroeder, G.D. Ganges and Milton Henschel decided to render the Greek phrase EIGO EIMI as I Have Been to support the WTBTS doctrines that deny the diety of Christ.

Before you spout off to yourself that this is not so, I would sincerely suggest you embark on a personal expedition to prove any of the above statements false without resorting to an ad hominen attack against those who who have discovered this deception from the WTBTS.

While I have researched many subjects related to the bible and the essence of God I can not claim any credit for what I have discovered. There are many posters on this board who are very well learned in Greek, Hebrew and other languages and will be more than happy to explain grammar and lexicon with you if you really desire truth.

I do more witnessesing now as a Christian than I ever did as a JW and I don't have to fill out a progress report. As a matter of fact, those who witness about Jesus have more success in leading people to Him than the WTBTS could ever dream of because the real Good News of the kingdom transcends all aspects of humanity. And you know what, Jesus made sure that the Good News about the Kingdom could be understood by small children, wise old men, highly educated and the illiterate because He touches the hearts of those whom He calls out of this world and gives them the Holy Spirit to guide them through life's paths.

That is what it means to make the truth your own. That is why when everyone is talking about the WTS,
I see where you all have gone wrong, you have not made the truth your own.

SOME of us made what we thought was "the truth" our own, only to discover that the WTS was not teaching "truth", but their own contrived lies and half-truths designed to slyly mislead all that they could.

Seeing as how the JWs have SUCH COMPLETE FAITH AND TRUST in the WTS to lead them, it is no surprise that they could pull the wool over the sheep's eyes yet another time, and get away with it!

It's hard to admit you've been duped.

It's even harder when you realize that your religion has LIED to you.

The WTS does NOT have the mind of Christ NOR does it have the best (spiritual) interests of its followers at heart.

"But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: in whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, might not shine through" 2 Cor 4:4 KJV

"If now, the good news we declare is in fact veiled, it is veiled among those who are perishing, among whom the god of this system of things has blinded the minds of the unbelievers that the illumination of the glorious good news about the Christ, who is the image of God, might not shine through" NWT

The WTS and all its components HAVE successfully blinded the minds of Christ's sheep. GET OUT FROM AMONG THEM!!!
