Thanks, Else. I didn't know about the antihistamine treatment for sunburn...I'll try it! I think there is some Claratin-D here that I was taking for the allergies in the spring...
I'm such a dweeb... You'd think I'd have the sense to use the 30spf with skin as white as mine, but what did I use? 15... *spanks self*...

The Claritin-D will not work. D is for Decongestant... you need to get a regular antihistamine like Benadryl (this will make you sleepy) or Claritin (will not make you sleepy).

He was BRIGHT LOBSTER RED on his butt, and his back and legs and bottoms of his feet were burned too. He ended up with sun poisoning

Jeannie re-frijoles.... (refried beanz;) Check out the benedryl lotion or Caladryl calamine and benedryl lotion for sunburn. It helps

That's the problem, the temptation of staying out too long in the sun during the first few sunbathing sessions of the summer.
You can get the Benadryl gel and use topically and it may help
