I agree. To tell you the truth, I probably would have been drawn to Sequana if I'd lived in an era of pantheism...

Monotheism is a tragedy and it is really an antireligion or a counter-religion. The hebrew kind seems to be an inversion of the old Egyption polytheistic religion. Everything the Egyptians held sacred was filthy and vice versa. Much the same as the relationship between hindusim and islam.
Religion wasn't a cause for war when everyone worshipped the same gods under different names. When monotheism arose all hell broke lose. Now we have a US president on a "mission from God" against another guy on the same mission, both monotheists.

yes, well, pantheism is really kind of very similar to atheism. it's all in how we describe nature. i don't use the word god in describing nature, and yet others do. in the end, is it not just about worshiping one's own nature? we are part of nature, and pantheists say that god is nature.

True, and i don't have problems w atheists. I still have not really figured out the nature of nature. But, it's fun to contemplate it.

ya, and in the end, i don't really mind the concepts of pantheism and deism that much, either. neither can be falsified, and so there is a chance that one is true. i think it's a way more honest position than monotheism, as it fits the reality of nature much better. interestingly though, atheism can be falsified. all it would take is for god to show himself and make it clear that he meant business.

What's funny is the fuss monotheists put up about atheists. The monos have 'killed' many gods. Atheists only kill one more. Wtf. Maybe it's cuz it's the last one, sort of like the how conservationists fight to protect the last fuzzy footed tree sloth (or whatever).

The Hindus believe in millions of gods and their society is not any better than that of monotheists neither did the ancient polytheists fare any better.
