    I think you are right about people who come from bethel being not quite the same. I seemed to pick up on that. I also noticed that they usually moved away. Thinking about it now, I think the temptation to spill the beans may have been too strong possibly and they may have keep quiet out of a feeling of being "loyal" and not wanting to disillusion anybody.

    I don't think that the list is actually a new thing. I know I've seen it somewhere on the net but don't remember where. I'll try and find a copy or maybe coerce one from somewhere.

    I suppose someone could have noted the changes if someone was in the book study with the original book and someone with a newer book. That would throw the conductor. I wonder why they felt the need to make the changes? Rewriting history?

    In the late 1970's I was friendly with an elder whose older son went to bethel.

    This son was around 19 or 20 I think if my memory is correct.

    After about 6 months he came home. I asked his father why he didn't stay and he said." well some things there are not what they are supposed to be".

    Or something to that affect.

    I couldn't get any more out of him.

    Today his father is dead, his younger brother is df'd, 1975 came and went, armageddon has not happened and the bethelite is an elder.

    Go figure.

    Thank you SadElder for finding that list of changes.

    There are only eight places listed where changes were made in the various editions of the Daniel book.

    I had thoughts of pages and pages of changes were sent around in an email!

    One wonders why Jack Barr made such a big deal about it.
