Seriously? I doubt that the Chinese will try a pre-emptive strike. They're on their way up and have a lot at stake. The U.S. has better targeting systems, and more resiliency. Millions of lives lost on either side, no matter which way it goes ... but I think the U.S. would take home the cup on this one.
I'm just glad I don't live in a major city if the missiles start flying tonight. Of course. Mrs. O & the O-lets are visiting one of the largest metro areas of the U.S. right now. Maybe I could be single again ... -

China nuking the us would make a lot of sense. Besides having some of it's own excess population removed, it could have much expanded american markets. As well as replacing all the gadgets that they vaporised, they would also have a huge rebuilding program to to share in. Damaging a country, and then rebuilding it is nothing new. America has been doing it for decades. It's very profitable business.
Where there is money to be made, there is always money forthcoming.

Our government hasn't spent a bloody dime on any decent armaments in I don't know how long....our helicopters fall off the ships into the harbour for God's sake, and our submarine they just acquired most recently, sank......WE are a JOKE....lol......
Yeah, seriously. Our troops can't even learn to use their guns sometimes because they don't have any bullets (I've heart 2 stories of this kind).

In Canada, we let women into combat roles too. And if I may say so, those Royal Canadian Navy chicks are hot.
