I just saw Mona Lisa Smile with Jennifer Roberts. It was great! It brought to bearing the mindset.. that a majority of us have gone through as women in the Org. I loved the awakening of the mind through Art History learning to see with an open mind!

I saw Troy too, it was all right. I thought they could have done a little more with it. I won't say what my fave is b/c everyone will laugh.

    X.

Thanks Damselfly. I'm alone tonight, seems a good time to rent Schindlers' tissues ready.

    Fav movie? Hmmmmm ...

Recent releases ... I'd say Eurotrip. Or maybe Shark Tale. Or Dude, Where's My Car?

Older flicks? Big Trouble in Little China. Apocalypse Now. The Sons of Katie Elder. The Cowboys. Goodfellas. True Grit. The Godfather. The Godfather, Part II. In Harm's Way. Escape From New York. A Boy And His Dog. The Road Warrior. It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World.

How long do you want the list to be?

Sheese Preston! I don't think I have movie class hun, I ain't heard of many of those movies, and uhm don't feel the urge to 'splain any of them if they have beyond the normal use for food in them, I remember all to well one of your explainations about food items.

    I loved Mona Lisa Smile

I took my 7 year old granddaughter to see the new Bewitched movie. Very funny.

    Other favorites:

The Mirror Has Two Faces (Lauren Bacall was eerily like my mother in that movie)

Shining Through (a great WW2 movie with Melanie Griffith and Michael Douglas)

    Sweet Home Alabama Notting Hil

    Working Girl

The Contender (with Joan Allen and Jeff Bridges, about a femal Vice Presidential nominee)

I will watch any of those when they are on TV

War of the Worlds was great, but once was enough.

Erm....too be fair I watch a lot of movies not necessarily for the entertainment value but because they add something spiritual or aesthetic. However Andrei Rublev is the only film on this list which shouldnt be watched to be entertained, its the best film ever made that explains artistry. 2001 is an excellent summation of our whole human experience, Hediwg is just a fun movie to watch and the best musical I've ever seen, Once Upon a Time in the West is a beautiful soap opera elegy, Mulholland Drive is a beautiful dream film, The Godfather is a well constructed Shakesperean drama, Miller's Crossing is is the best example of violent film noir made years after the golden age of cinema, Sansho the Baliff is a very entertaining story meant to be seen by everyone who likes anything movie-wise, and Fanny and Alexander combines the best qualities of film-making. The movies I listed are IMNSHO the best movies ever made.

Now, what did I say about food?
