Damn. I forgot.
Saving Private Ryan. How can you watch that without having your heart ripped from your chest at the end .. the cemetary scene, when Ryan is at Arlington? When he wonders whether he has earned it all? My father and two of his brohters fought in WWII, as did my mother's brother (whose plane was shot down over Holland). Saving Private Ryan briangs it all home for me.
OK. Add The Longest Day to my list, too.

Wow what a great response. I have seen most of the movies and agree they are great. Man of fire is another good one, and yes the hide and seek has 4 other endings all of which i realy liked its worth a look. Has anyone seen the party with Peter Sellers thats a classic here is a few more of my fav: Donnie Darko The Village Braveheart Love actually And the list goes on and on es

orion - OH MY WORD - you remember the goonies - I loved that movie way back when....brilliant.
I love most fantasy movies (lord of the rings) I love the matrix series....pretty much most comic style movies. Into dramas.
I enjoyed the aviator - pretty good - though I felt sad after.
I'm totally looking forward to Charley & the chocolate factory.
