Terrible things can happen in the jw society and not just in the outside evil world. The them and us mentality doesn't work in this case.

It always distrubs me when people refer to criminals as "animals". It's an affront to animals because animals don't don't murder or commit other heinous crimes.

Although JWs would like to think otherwise, among them there are all sorts of people. JWs is just one more religion among thousands.

Very well put. And yes this is horribly sad, and it does happen. Again at the DC in Minnesota they brought up the case of the very pregnant woman who was a JW and she was murdered and her baby taken. And of course they turned it into a case of Jehovah allowing her spirituality to stay intact.
