I don't know much about politics in the states but Cyrus The Persian said the Reno was NOT Attorney General. Well I googled her and she WAS Attorney General from 1993-2001 here's the link http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Janet_Reno- look at the bottom of the page.

    sf,

Why not try asking some of the 'old timers' from h2o. Some of them have the archives on cd. They would be able to see the entire thread in context. I'm sure Norm and Farkel or Osarsif have a copies of the cd.

    NL2,

Thank you. All three of these gentlemen post here and I was hoping that they would. As of yet, they have not.

If only! Religion in the US is still very much untouchable, though.

There is information relating to Jehovah's Witnesses on the Justice Department website. Unfortunately, you won't find this one. www.usdoj.gov

If only, right. While Janet Reno had no love for cults she would have had to get something tangible (not doctrine) against the WTS. At Waco it was weapons (an illegal raid and overkill); For the GB it would have to be something like the AlCapone tax evasion. Unfortunately it isn't the job of Attorney General to uncover hypocrisy in religion. Such a shame really.
