It was 32 today. It's 'only' supposed to be 30 tomorrow, but with 100% humidity,,, and at least 35 on Wednesday and Thursday.
Thank the goddess for coastal fog -- at least we get some relief at nite!

Yes, that would be won-der-ful!! Are you on the east coast or west coast Talesin? I'm thinking Vancouver Island's looking pretty good right about now......at least you get a nice ocean breeze without all the crappy pollution accompanying it........
Gumby: 112 is impressive, all right, but we've got you beat here in the desert outside of LA. It was 120 yesterday. More of the same today.
here its freezing. It was minus 2 degrees celcius when I came to work this morning. To make matters worse the heating has broken in the building.
My little toes are just about frozen!

I'm in Halifax. The fog has rolled in ... ahhhh! The past few years, we have gotten the smog fallout from New England, but still, it's not as bad as Ontario. And we have so many trees in the city, it helps a lot. Do you know that old cemetary by the hospital? Well, it's only a couple blocks away, so I can go there and get away from the heat under those old chestnut trees. It's like an oasis in the middle of the city. Come baaaaack to the mmaaaarrrriiittiimmmessss!!!!!

I've been there in the summer. It is H O T!!! My biggest fear was that we would break down between Barstow and Vegas ... imagine being stranded in that heat.. .ugg. Specially after seeing the movie Kalifornia, imagining the crazies wandering around ... spooky!
(I know, it was just a movie, but even so ... it's so deserted. Why do they always set those crazy-people movies out in the desert?)

It's finally warmed up! it has been so cool this year and we can't seem to go 5-days without a rain shower. It is 90 ° F (32 C), humidity is only 20%. I feel bad for those of you with hot, humid weather. It’s not something we customarily have here in the Inland Northwest.
IN september, rat is getting an air condionned car....and next summer an air conditionned apartment.....and the pussy will appreciate it....
Its 100 up here but is really dry out, but i'll tell you...looking up at that snow on mount shasta that hasn't melted yet...well i'm tempted to go up and roll around in those icy cold puddles....I might come back with a nice sunburn afterwards though.
