Ahh I miss concerts...i used to go all the time to these cool little punk concerts, you know the ones where there is like 75 people cramned into a small bar...lol....Ahhh the days before kids...

Ye, Tal...that is one sweet song for sure. The first time I heard it, it hit the 'identify' nerve. I saw them on Leno, recorded it and played it over and over and over...it brought tears to my eyes. Good tears..like "Those are the words I wanted to say..."

Growing up The Moody Blues was one of my favorites!

Yes, Dookie, that was their first concert tour here, about 97, neh? I'm rather disappointed they have sold out with no shame; I tend to have a bit higher expectations of punk bands, even if they are post-modern, commercialized, semi-punkers. :( Oh, well, I guess everyone can't be NEIL YOUNG. heheh Or Henry Rollins!

I disagree that they have sold out..ive seen them twice this year ..playing in front of 2000 and in front of 60000..both were awesome and the energy levels were incredible! They still punk rock exactly like they did at the time of dookie....and that added with a pretty good political awareness makes for a brilliant show.

Get international superhits as a good intro to their Music. One can also download their covers of Ramones songs which are awesome...but you didnt hear that from me

I personally think American Idiot is Album of the year.I never thought they would do 10 minute songs, but they have done it with aplomb.

Hey,do i get paid for this free Ad?

LOL! Yes, I agree, I love Green Day! That is why I was sooo disappointed when I saw the trailer for the latest idiot-college-boy movie,,, and they use a Green Day song for the theme ...

As you prolly know, Neil is my hero ... 'this note's for you' ... Green Day! :( :(

    Rabbit,

Yes, I guess you remember that is my kinda 'theme song'. Since I was a kid, my theme has been wildflower, by the famous Texan, Michael (?) MacDonald. Didja know that? Kewl, huh? I must email Xena and tell her that. She wud like it!

    OOPS, Rabbit, I forgot,,,,

... breathe deep the gathering gloom ..

watch lights fade from every moon ...

bedsitter people look back and lament ..

another day's useless passion is spent ...

~ Days of Future Past, the MB

And that's from memory! Another thing we have in common!
