The episode where children find an escape from unhappiness and find a loving home by going through a secret passage at the bottom of their swimming pool -- one of my all-time favorites.

I used to watch these many years ago - good all-round family entertainment. I recall one with Robert Vaughan (?) who buried 2 bodies in his back garden, only to 'rise' (which he saw on CCTV, I think) - a bit vague, sorry, was that one of the episodes?

For those who have asked, the name of the episode where the couple wake up in a small town and can't find their way out is called "A Stopver in a Quiet Town" For those who have seen it, I won't reveal the ending.

I love the old TZs. The actors had to be particularly dramatic because they didn't have special effects. Really entertaining.

"Next stop! Willoughby!" [train conductor looking at pocket watch]

That is one of my favorites... the fella who takes a commuter train, and sees this small town named Willoughby every day on his way home. His life is hectic, and this small town looks so inviting... no pressures, very slow-paced lifestyle... then one day, he decides to get off at that stop.

Others that come to mind... the one where the people living in a small house...turn out to be a kids' doll collection...

The episode where the astronauts land back on earth... only to learn that they actually went to an identical earth - on the far side of the sun.

There are many others... wish I could find the DVD set... is it available at common stores like Sam's, etc?

    Regards,

We had a Twilight Zone Marathon a few weeks ago. I taped them all!

I knew I wouldn't be able to watch them for 2 or 3 day straight so now I have 4 or 5 six hour tapes of Twilight Zone.

I am looking forward to watching them when I get home from my daughters.

To many to say I have a favorite. Way too many.

Snoozy,,,We also have new ones now but they just aren't quite as good as the originals..

I did like the old man with the dog "Shep"..an old country man . He apparently died and his dog Shep was with him. He was walking on a country road and met several gatekeepers . Each one tried to talk him into entering their gate.(So-called heaven) But each one didn't suit him. One was for dogs only..the next one didn't allow dogs..He wasn't about to be separated from his dog Shep. Then finally he found the perfect one for him and his dog..it was a tear jerker.

I almost forgot "Kick the can"....ahhhhh to be young again..
