    Hey dark,,

Some folks will reek of garlic, some not. I eat several fresh cloves a day, and have asked close friends if they can smell it. For some reason, not! Maybe it's because I eat a lot of spice, but I dunno. Give it a try, and ask friends who will tell you the truth if you are garlic-stinky.

I like the earthy scents as well, Vetiver, Patchouli... ..My husband tends to wear these essential oils .....My favorite perfume though, I'd have to say, for myself, is "SO", by Oscar de la Renta. I also wear "COCO," by Channel.

One of the best oriental type scents is Poison...loved Opium..wore it when it first came out. Right now wear Scicily by Dolce and Gabbana. The one that lasted the longest on me was Angel, heavenly chocolatey scent but had to be applied lightly.
Baby Doll is another favourite..tangy grapefruit with flowers,Michael and Glamorous, sensuous.

I see that some of you prefer "natural, unadulterated" scents vs. colognes, especially on men. I just wonder whether those around you share the same (nasal) thought. I know of a number of Indian and Middle Eastern men that do not wear deodarants or colognes and I tend to avoid them.

    Minimus:
It would depend what you eat. If an individual is given to strong spices, then that affects the scent an individual gives off. However, in my experience all a deoderant will do is mask it, and an undertone will still remain.

For those who take few milk products (as was the case in certain oriental lands for long enough) the Western scent can resemble sour milk

Though I like spices, I don't generally eat heavily spices foods very often. That might explain why I've not had any complains, and my hugs are world renowned

Norrell for women, bought out by Revlon. Don't know who originally created it.

MN for women, signature cologne of Merle Norman

Don't like "musky" scents at ALL.

I don't have any cause don't wear it . They make my nose burn and give me headaches and the people that just about take a bath in it just about get me hurling.
