  I turn the news on every morning so I can keep track of the time while I am getting ready for work.

  The news is about fear -- and keeping us in that constant state. I have learned to tune a lot of it out -- and I even laugh once in awhile at the "sensationalism". You can always tell when it is a slow news day.

  Well if you didn't know the motto of news organizations is:
  If it bleeds it leads.
  Meaning if it's bloody tragedy it leads the news stories or headlines.
