Halloween seems all scary and fun and delicious BUT IT'S EVIL!

The modern custom of going from door to door asking for food and candy goes back to the time of the Druids.

Druids believed that sinful, lost souls were released upon the earth by Samhain for one night on October 31st while they awaited their judgment.

How sad that you are brainwashed to believe that anything that is enjoyable is "evil." The real evil lies in the management of the despicable corporate cult that has enslaved your mind, and the minds of millions of others, and exploited hundreds of thousands if not millions of children as well, all in the interest of increasing its fund balances. The evil scum that manage the Watchtower deserve to be publicly tarred and feathered and left to be utilzed as public urinals for vagrants.

This particular holiday really does little for me.

I have no problem with my kids dressing up, and trick or treating with their friends.

But, I have no need for the decorations, especially the "scary" stuff, and I will not participate in the custumes that promote the occult.

Who the hell says paganism isn't cultism ? I think it is very much so an extreme cult . I'm just glad I don't have any kids so don't have to tell them no on these type of things .The whole thing is like a celebration of the dead , it's a little too freaky for me . Even as a kid I'd hear stories of people being poisoned or finding razor blades in the candy . I think I would sooner buy the kids some candy as pay for costumes and the threat on their life would be eliminated .

Yes, and all the bridesmaids dressing the same in a wedding party is so the evil spirit will be confused when they come to take away the bride. The wedding rings are have pagan origins. The bride wearing a vail is so the evil spirits can't find her. The days of the week are named after pagan gods as well as the months. The list goes on and on but that doesn't mean that we should worry about it today. If you did some investigation you would find that most of our modern ways come from pagan background.

    My favorite holiday :)

What's not to like? I love theatrical costumes and I love candy. A day when everyone is reveling in chocolate, candy and mischief? Too awesome.

I took my daughter to a halloween party last year but I felt a bit uneasy about it so instead of dressing her as a witch or devil or something I got her a little fairy outfit.

I did last year. I went to Oaklawn area in Dallas; even dressed up as a jester; a first :)
