I'll go one further --- They are a cult that claims to be the only orthodox religion surrounded by apostates that is run like a buisness that keeps more lawyers on retainer than the national enquirer . What's interesting is the fact that in countries they are banned in, they lie about considering themselves a religion but that they are only a publishing corporation distributing information . Here in the US you would be DF for saying they are just a publishing corporation .

Yes their name is partiallly appropriate
Watchtower, Bible and Tract Society - Notice Watchtower 1st in the name - more appropriate would be Watchtower, Book Tract and Bible Society because there is absolutely no doubt the bible is in last place

One possible side benefit from the Society's corporate reorganization in the year 2000 effectively disassociating Jehovah's Witnesses from the Watch Tower Corporation(s), is to allow the Watch Tower Corporation(s) more freedoms than the Christian Congregations of Jehovah's Witnesses. Freedoms like joining political organizations (parties) like the United Nations. They could say, "Jehovah's Witnesses have never been involved in a political organization (since 2000)."
BUT the Watch Tower Corporation has:-)
I think for essentially dishonest people, it doesn't matter. To those of us who have been stung by the scorpion. . . it matters.
