The problem is that they don'tcome out to debate face to face with the "apostates" ostensibly because they have nothing to say to those that already know all the truth but in reality because they are afraid to argue since their position is very weak on several issues. Basically they don't want info to go around.

Funny though, as there has been a discussion on Beliefnet JW Debate, about how a JW will hide what they're doing on sites such as this, and act as if butter wouldn't melt in their obedient little mouths........but they come to these forums with Jehovah's full knowledge, right?
It just goes to prove that JWs ARE more "afraid of man" and what he can "do to them", than they are in "displeasing Jehovah"!!!!

A sizeable portion of JWs know something is not quite right. they are sick of being told, dont do this and dont do that. The more the WTBTS preaches about not visiting sites like this the more they will - especially the younger ones who are acomputer savvy these days. So we know they lurk and yet go to the hall and give talks etc. So I m hardly unique - OK perhaps I have gone a stage further by going to an apostafest but hey I was just having fun with a great bunch of people some of whom just happened to be disfellowshipped. There was no need for the slef righteous PM which prompted this thread in the first place. He is posting on this board and yet attends meetings. There is no real difference apart from the fact I had afew beers for my "sin"
