Well, I was just a kid, so I didn't know specifically what all those books and papers were that filled my Grandad's big old Elder bag and I didn't really care. It was enough for me that he kept rolls of Lifesaver candies in the inside zipper pocket and he was willing to share.

Here's another question... Why did the elder in my congregation not only have the biggest breifcase in the congregation but it also had rabbit fur all over it. That ugly piece of luggage will always haunt me...!
