My hero is Isaac Asimov because he believed that mankind could eventually live in harmony with nature and itself through the exercise of logic and the action of not taking from the world more than was needed.
Who is your hero and why?

my mom.....because regardless of how much we had to move she always made a home for us ,my dad because no matter where he had to go, he always found work and took care of us all, both were always mild tempered and never were abusive, having good parents was a real blessing!

My partner. We're going through some stuff right now that I'm not sure how we'll resolve. But I respect and admire him so much. Every year he puts on a big fundraiser for the Make-a-Wish foundation, works his butt off for children he's never met. A more honest man I've never met- he always tells the truth, no matter what. He helped me clean my grandmother's house after her death (worse than you'd think- my grandparent's bodies went undiscovered for some time, and nobody else could handle being in there with me.) He's the only man I know who's tough enough to hold his own in a fight, but tender enough to hold my elderly cat like a piece of china. He fusses at me for not eating right, and he manages to convince me when no one else can, that I can be a better person.

My grandfather.....he married, went off to England to fight in the second world war. Became deathly ill, and almost died during the war.Came home, recovered from his illnesses, worked at many different jobs, to make ends meet and raised 6 children. He became a grandfather, great-grandfather, and now a great-great-grandfather. He now resides in a nursing home, and he doesn't remember us anymore,..... I love him dearly. He is my hero. I am very proud of him.
