  I couldn't help thinking "I hope his premiums are paid up." But then I read this. Kind sad, really.
  
  I guess the good news is that he has five years. Usually, if a cancer is serious stuff, it's merely a matter of weeks. Or they close a person up & tell them to gather their friends and family around for support. Five years is a long time.
  
  Sorry. I just re-read this. It kinda looks like I'm being even more of a smart-ass than usual, but I don't mean to be. I'm actually trying to be positive & optimistic.
