Paul J - I'm not sure to be honest, theres Holyhead and Valley which share a Kingdom Hall, Llangefni and possibly Beumaris, oh and maybe Amlwch but can't say for definite.
Ellie - good shout - Guns N Roses!
Can I have a 6th in my list - I forgot ColdPlay! I was walking to work the day before yesterday listening to Fix You and it was a minute before I realised I was actually weeping. Its a fantastic moving song and really gets better with each time you listen. Or am I just preaching to the converted? And the lyrics well so apt at the mo:
When you try your best but you don't succeed When you get what you want but not what you need When you feel so tired but you can't sleep Stuck in reverse And the tears come streaming down your face When you lose something you can't replace When you love someone but it goes to waste Could it be worse? Lights will guide you home And ignite your bones And I will try to fix you And high up above or down below When you're too in love to let it go But if you never try you'll never know Just what you're worth Lights will guide you home And ignite your bones And I will try to fix you Tears stream down your face when you lose something you cannot replace Tears stream down your face And I Tears stream down your face I promise you I will learn from my mistakes Tears stream down your face And I Lights will guide you home And ignite your bones And I will try to fix you
Coldplay are incredible. Not quite legendary for me yet, but well on their way. My favourite song is Everythings not lost from their Parachutes album-
When I'm counting up my demons.
Saw there was one for every day.
With the good ones on my shoulder,
I drove the other ones away.
If you ever feel neglected,
If you think all is lost,
I'll be counting up my demons, yeah,
Hoping everything's not lost.
When you thought that it was over,
You could feel it all around,
Everybody's out to get you,
Don't you let it drag you down.
Cos if you ever feel neglected,
If you think that all is lost,
I'll be counting up my demons, yeah.
Hoping everything's not lost
If you ever feel neglected,
If you think all is lost,
I'll be counting up my demons, yeah,
Hoping everything's not lost.
Singing out,
Oh oh oh yeah,
Oh oh yeah,
Oh oh yeah,
Everything's not lost.
Come on yeah,
Oh oh yeah,
Come on yeah,
Everything's not lost,
Oh oh oh yeah,
Oh oh yeah,
Oh oh yeah,
And everything's not lost,
Come on yeah,
Oh oh yeah,
Come on yeah,
Come on yeah,
Oh oh yeah,
Come on yeah,
Everything's not lost
Sing out yeah,
Oh oh yeah,
Come on yeah,
Everything's not lost,
Come on yeah,
Oh oh yeah,
Sing out yeah,
Everything's not lost
I have parachutes at home but I never listened to it more than once. Maybe that is one way I can spend my evening tonight... I'm such a latecomer to the Coldplay appreciation society. It was seeing them at Glastonbury that attracted me.
