  So the one LITTLE MIND (at work) & myself had a discussion & Terry I used your question "I'm willing to be wrong, are you?" B R I L L I A N T She was not expecting that at all and that flustered her from the very beginning.

  I shall be "linenapping" that little line of yours.

  After our discussion, she asked me how I felt about the whole matter - I very plainly told her that her pattern proves that she'll disregard anything we've discussed......but that this time there will be consequences and THAT I will not accept any excuses.

  State clearly: How will we know when one of us has proved our point? What evidence will you accept? What will it take to change your mind?

  Terry, I think you could write a very good article if not a very good book on how to deal with tiny minded people. I'd buy/read it.

  To add,I have respect for persons opinions,but doesn't mean I have to agree with them. BUT,the only people I usally pick a bone with are racsist,hurtful peeps.I usually tell them what I think of their opinion.

  Yeah, call out the racists, the bigots, and the bullies. Especially in the hearing of others. Especially if they have embarrassed a subordinate in front of others. But don't argue with them. They usually won't either, in front of an audience. They'll usually sputter and retreat.

  Racists, bigots, and bullies are cowards.
