Leaving Las Vegas
Hands down the most depressing movie I've ever seen. My hubbie and I looked at each other at the end and said "that's it?"
Recently tried to watch "What the Bleep Do We Know" and thought I was going to die of boredom. I guess I'm not one of those deep thinker types.

How does depressing = worst? Some of the best drama ever written were tragedies and they are classics.
Bolero. Hands down the worst. How a movie can have Bo Derek, naked mostly, and still be unwatchable is beyond me. I'll agree with Showgirls as an honorable mention.
To Die For with Nicole Kidman is on my list.

"Closer".....REvolting! But the all time worst was a David Cronin flick called "Naked Lunch"...GAWDdamn that was awful !!!!!!
There are a lot more bad movies than good. If it's really bad, I usually block it from my memory pretty quick. But the worst I ever saw at the theater was Big Top PeeWee. It was terrible. Loved PeeWee's Big Adventure, but Big Top was a big flop.

The Skateboard Kid, here is a brief synopsis taken from Amazon:
This movie took three years off of my life. It was like a horrific car crash that I could not look away from. First of all, Dom Deluise is the voice of a magical talking skateboard. The only way you'll ever see his butt on a skateboard. Second, this movie forgot to have stuff actually happen! Enjoy the montage of the skateboard kid and skateboard playing baseball together ( oh, yes) and then watching a sunset together. There are homeless people on the street, and people sick and dying, but the producers of this movie decided to use their money not on important causes, but instead on this waste of celluloid because they thought they were making citzen kane, or something. This movie hurt me, but I could never hurt it the way it hurt me. With all that said, I say go out and see it anyway. Trust me, you will rate all other movies with this one. And you too will say, "Oh yeah, you think that movie's bad? You should see 'Skateboard Kid'!!!!" -Jody Corodey
