Yes he is moving to where the need is great!!! My brother (a pious pustule) has just moved to Colorado. I'm sure it would take 10, he would say, to replace him.

Ohio Cowboy, You didn't say how far the nearest hall is! HL

I've been wondering when you were going to make it down here. I'm glad to know it's soon! I hope you have a safe trip and give us a shout when you get in town. We'll have to have a housewarming party for you!

Well it's about time!!! I wondered when you were going to get here! Actually, I figured you'd been watching the weather reports and changed your mind. It's very hot right now.

You have a whole bunch of friends waiting for you in Big D, SO & Chelsea to get down here. Porch light's on and there's beer in the fridge!

    Cheers,

    Nina

    Hi Ohio,

I worked in Houston many years ago, staying there for weeks at a time. The winter is mild, but can get cold. It also rains like hell at times. I imagine that Dallas, about 300 miles to the north, is somewhat similar ... but you can expect some serious cold at times.

Why are you moving? Or is that personal. Hope you have a good trip. You will find that gas prices are better in texas, as they don't tax their own gas the same as other states. Texas, being an oil producing state, gets more revenue from exports of oil ... or at least they used to.

    Jim W.
