Actually I think we all act. They don't call it "social roles" for nothing. We all act the roles we were either taught to perform, or the roles we feel come most naturally...this applies to everyone in society.
...I just don't like it when they act gay!

What do you think he meant by that? Does he mean effeminate?
I know that when I see a straight person acting macho (assuming that is the opposite of effeminate) I don't like it.
I guess over-the-top either way can be a little much.

I think men are more likely to uncomfortable with the former and women with the latter. I know guys who are the former though, who aren't gay.

eh yes indeed....the title of this thread might be changed to when the OVER act...over macho guys, bitchy queens, skiiny bitch women who object to everyone else in a bathing suit, butchy lesbians, et al...they all suck and are difficult to deal with and still keep a positive attitude.

Leo, I think an interesting issue to consider while laying in bed at night finding it troublesome to sleep is coming to an understanding of how acting is different from behaving.
