I was watching a debate today on CNN between a Reverend and a Doctor. The funny thing was that the Doctor did a very good job of using the bible to show that God viewed fetuses (fetusi?) not as a human life but as property. The reverend was very stuned I dont think he was expecting that line of attack from the doctor.

Even with limited research using stem cells drawn from embryos discarded in the past this is a good thing. The door is open now and so is the Federal checkbook. That's all that matter$. The money will also be used for developing alternative sources-cells taken from placentas and umbilical cords. Jerry Falwell and his followers who sits there and grins like the banjo boy from Deliverence need to all have a good shut up on this one.

So mutch potential good here, it is enough to make an ex-dub cry. A dub cry (see Prince "When Dubs Cry") too, for that matter. Just for very different reasons.
