The problem for most non-believers is that He never wrote anything down. His diciples never wrote anything down. There is no physical or histoical evidence for Him apart from writings many years later. Contempoary writers didn't write about miricles, or that He is God. No eyewitness accounts, only hearsay.
What binds believers to the story of Him is their faith.
What bind non-believers to the denial of his divinity is their lack of faith.
I guess that's why Christian religious are also know as faiths.
