yeah, Bush is a Grade A jackass. Not only did he meet with only those that were able to scrub up but the military convoy only arrived when he said in a press conference this morning--"I'm coming." Totally staged and disgusting. My sister voted for him twice but she's been watching all the coverage and hates him and all the other jackasses for letting this go on.

It also happened with a hospital.....a private hospital got evacuated while the public one that deals with those with no insurance etc was left with 200 patients. The 2 hospitals are in close proximity. That also was not good for PR etc.

It's a govenment agency so all the money provided by tax payers. The head of FEMA said they had FEMA people on the ground and ready to go before the hurricane hit. He said FEMA had been given unlimited resources before the hurricane hit. Yet, many people still haven't seen anyone from FEMA.

From what I understand, yes, this is for real. Yesterday, a young couple with their young (probably now motherless) neice, was brought to Dallas. The lady had said they had to surround their children, especially the young girls, in order to protect them. They could never leave them alone, nor could they both sleep at the same time. They slept in shifts in order for someone to be awake to protect the children.

There are reports of cannibalism also....i.e. eating dead people. I got that from another discussion board but I haven't seen anything I would say is official about it.

ISP- I don't know about that...kind of doubting it. Maybe if this goes on another week I won't but as of now I think it's probably false information.
