    You crammed a lot into your vacatio, Tetra. So glad you had a great time. It's wonderful being free, isn't it? The counter-culture was always and still is an attraction for me.

    Glad you had fun. No place better to get over the Watchtower than the ocean.

    What is the water temp up there? Do you have to wear 5 mil wetsuites and hoods or is that only in the winter. I once met some surfers for Nova Scotia. They told me they put vasoline on there face in the winter to keep their skin from cracking.

    ya, it's full on wet suits up here, even in the summer. booties and hoods. and in the winter, gloves and maybe vasoline as well.

    I am a silent lurking fan of yours. Thank you for posting this. I am 26 and need to do something of this sort. I surf as well and would love to just go out and enjoy myself. A few friends have a plan set up for the end of '06 to spend a year in Spain and the surrounding areas. I am going, come what may. Thanks for the cyber push

    LOL, no not at all. even on a summer saturday, there are only like 30 people in the water along beaches that streach for a few kilometers. there are breaks all along the beach too. i surfed alone all day practically, on that saturday. i just had to take the time to walk down the beach a ways.
