Its easy, you want the best. You have homes all over and travel the world. You buy quality brand names. You get the best 20 inch rims for your Benz cabriolet. All your suits are Armani, DKNY and Boss. You can flip through the pages of GQ and see all your designers.

Money is invested and put into generation skipping trusts to transfer and guarantee wealth for futue generations.

Its easy to spend more. I spend alot more than before and when you go to the bathroom and look in the bowl and see 100 dollar bills, you think, heck, why not spend it.

You go to a salon for your hair, all your jeans aren't levis but 7 or diesel custom distressed,

Then there is the ski chalet in a ski area and a home in the Caribbean and servants at the homes to care for them and have them ready for you and guests and clients.

I could go on and on...

While we've been blessed with more than some and not as much as others, I think we've always tried to help others not so gifted when the need arose. Many times those we've helped never knew where the help came from. That's just the way we work.

We've always viewed the proper use of wealth to be a responsibility not to be taken lightly.

Lottery winners are often broke within five years or less. They lose their friends too. Jealousy and bitterness often comes with winning a fortune.

One of my favorite professors was discussing the above phenomenon one day in Econ class, and I've always remembered what he said:

"Given the fact that most lottery winners have tremendous difficlties managing their newfound wealth, are inundated with pleas from strangers, hounded by family members, make incredibly poor monetary decisions, suffer from a variety of stress induced maladies, and within just a few years often end up with less money than they had before the windfall, the question about whether you want to win the lottery becomes: Do you really want to take the risk of ending up in that majority? The answer, of course, is 'Yes, I'd like to give it a try.'"
