Don't many of us deserve to die for the way we have treated others during our life? Isn't it ridiculous to wait on the government to do this?

If killing people is wrong, then killing people is wrong, unless they are actively trying to kill you.
The death penalty is about punishment and revenge; it's obvious it prevents reoccurance, but that is not the point. It is no deterrent.
Justice is a different thing. Stopping someone who may well kill again by incarceration and treatment is essential, even if some never reach a point where they can reasonably be released.
Quite how a lynch mob (note please the assaults on and murders of the wrong person by lynch mobs - like a Sikh after 9/11 because he wore a turban) can hope to do better than people who know what they are talking about with experience and resources can, I don't know.
You are being silly Joel, sorry. I think you know you are, and I think you know as well as me that sometimes you post things you normally wouldn't. I hope things are okay, I've "known" you for years, PM me anytime you want.

besides, who says death ends anything? death may be the easy way out for some....they may simply escape to
another life.
