We all are as we are, by heritage of birth, or background. Who says we deserve to die?

If you believe you deserve to die, I ask why? Have you some kind of guilt complex, low self-esteem, some secret horrifying murder in the closet?

No healthy creature sees itself so.

If you say God thinks you deserve to die - WHY? Are you telepathic too? His will is that you be as you are. Killing yourself is thwarting His Will.

Hitler never complained about how the creator had fashioned him. (Nor did Barbie Bush) If Hitler had killed himself in the 1920s, who is to say that some other, less unstable, monster would have come to power and plunged the world into radioactive misery for centuries.

Trying to second guess our place in the vast tapestry that is eternity may sometimes produce greater evil than simply accepting that this is where we are.

Maybe you will do some real good in the world at some FUTURE time. Maybe you are the one that writes something that changes other lives for the better.

What if Mother Teresa had saved the state the trouble of killing her when she believed she was unworthy of God's love?

Isn't it great how some peoppe are so eager to go "Yeah, it's okay to kill people (sometimes)" they actually totally miss a human being is in such a parlous psychological state they feel they deserve to die? Get with the fucking program guys... in this situation you're as usless as a chocolate kettle and dangerous too.

Joel, you know this isn't funny. You know people will worry about the state of your mind. What you are doing is like calling Samaritans and saying "I'm so bad I deserve to die", and putting the phone down.

Now, that's not nice. Not I said 'not nice'; not "BAD' or 'EVIL'.

However, your self-assesment of the 'justice' of your own death is bullcrap.

Have you;

Killed little children and eaten their brains?
Kept unwilling people captive as your sex slave?
Sold fissile material to terrorists?

I know you haven't. You might be a shit to people sometime. Get over it, we all are. You might walk when the red man shows, litter occasionally, cuss inappropriately, and fail to be as nice as you'd like to be. Join the club, it's called humanity.

But to put yourself in a catagory deserving of death is illogical and smacks either of the drama queen or of a depressive episode. Are you sharing your feelings with those you know and love, and who love you? If not, think about how you would feel if they felt as bad as you feel now, and didn't turn to you for help.

You are well liked here and that should be a testament to your character and worth, let alone how those whose real lives you are part of feel about you. Although learning to learn to love oneself is hard, ultimately it is what gives us a fair chance at happiness.
