Are you honest when you say your age?

No, not always. And I am not so honest about my weight or height either - especially if I have to put it in print. Everything seems worse in print. I fudge a little and say I am 10-15 lbs. lighter and I round off my height to the next inch.

    Vanity? Insecurity?

Cordy, the last time I got carded, I was 36. heheh, the drinking age is 19, so i gave the bouncer a squeeze, and told him I was old enough to be his mother.

People I met at the last apostfest told me they thought I was a lot "older" - so I turned on the age feature in the profile. Strange really as I didn't think my posts are that mature - well some of them.

Ballistic, they must go by the number of posts you made....to determine your age.

Simon and Minimus must be old......

I don't lie about my age. I am proud of it! I even got carded at Sea World.. lol

But most of the time they see me w/ my 3 kids and just figure I must either be old enough to drink or thinking " dang.. 3 kids?? she needs a drink!" lol

I am 29 yrs of age and loving it.

I like to mess with people's heads, so when they ask, I'll often tell outrageous lies, such as that I just turned 18, or I'm 58. But, it's obvious that I'm lying, not shaving off a few years for vanity's sake. My grandmother always told people she was 39, right up until she was 89! Not sure, though, how she explained a granddaughter in her mid-thirties.

When I was 16 and 17, I looked 21+ so it was no problem getting served. However I turned 21 in September, the drinking age was dropped back to 19 for a while....and I got carded everywhere I went...what a pain.

I'm now 54 (as of September 8) and I'm always honest about my age, however some days I feel 16 and some days I feel 96...!
