All I can say is, this is one INCREDIBLY long lived bunch of folks. Everyone senses that the numbers don't match actuarial tables in the slightest. The rate of decline due to death should be greater EVERY SINGLE YEAR than they are from 1945 on. By 1975 they knew they had a serious problem if things went on much longer. By 1995, they knew the jig was up.

Common sense, folks: How many people, JW or otherwise, do you know who were alive in 1925? In other words, how many 80 year olds do you know? Does it seem reasonable that such a high percentage of them are JWs? Or is the contention that almost EVERYONE who was anointed in 1925 has been replaced?

Of course not. Otherwise that would mean the 1925 Faithful Slave wasn't faithful.

The column dosn't matter as before 1935 all at the memorial have been partakers.

The "Jonadab" class was to be the "flesh" that would survive the great tribulation. Since 70 years have passed, where is that "Jonadab" or "other sheep" or "great crowd" now? Sooner or later the Watchtower will have to make some sort of revision, which is not unlike them (Superior Authorites, Alternative Service, Generation), and the rank and file will eat it up. with a few thousand saying enough is enough and make their exit.

Don't forget that some of the "anointed" have to be around when the Great Tribulation strikes.

Otherwise there would not be a FDS.

Its a catch 22 for the WTS: Increase/stable partaking buys time VS decrease to null means doctrinal crisis.

This is memorial attendanceYou know they were about to explode in their pants in 1923 with a 29% increase! Then in 1924 they had a jump of 55%, and another 39% increase in 1925. In just three short years they saw an increase in attendance at the memorial of 177%.

Wonder if that had anything at all to do with their claim that 1925 marked the end of this old system? Over the next three short years they dropped to fewer attendees than they had in 1919. Progressive growth, or a very wise response from the many to those who proved themselves to be false prophets? You be the judge.

As was explained, prior to the invention of the "Great Crowd" class, EVERYONE who became a Bible Student was convinced that they were part of the "Bride of Christ" class, because THERE WAS NO OTHER OPTION. No doubt the impending Millennial Jubilee of 1926 motivated lots of people to sign on, just as in the late 60s/early 70s lots of people signed on when they learned how "special" 1975 was going to be. After the failure of 1926 to bring the promised Messianic Kingdom, people with an iota of rationality went back to their pre-theocratic lives. The remainder have died, much to their surprise.

Just a quick clarification. Before 1935 everyone would have been considered a member of the anointed officially; but there were many who didn't feel it in their hearts. That's one of the reasons they came up with the earthly hope. To give the ones who didn't feel anointed a hope.

So not everyone in attendance in the 30s would have been considered anointed.

I updated the list of partakers to 2013 (see below)...if I was to predict as to what new light might be coming down the BORG POOP SHOOT may be. I would predict that they need to do something about the 144,000 being a literal number.

for two reasons:

1. the number of partakers is increasing every year. ( how does the BORG explain this? They can't so they will come with new light "Oh we were given divine new insight and interpetation, the 144000 is not a literal number....nix the anointed and give all power to the FDS as Gods sole line of communication! and everyone partake if you feel your conciouse will let you.) (NOT)

2. the amount of money that was spent the last 3 years was astronomical. (see below)

1992 Borg spent $45,218,257.56 to pay for special pioneers, missionaries and TO’s
2011 BORG spent over 173 million for special pioneers, missionaries, and TO’s and not mentioned is the amount of money it takes to run a website. i.e.to be high up on all the searches cost a lot of money

Look at the difference between 1992 and 2012 the cost has quadrupled. Am I to believe the special pioneers and missionaries and TO's get that kind of cost of living over 10 years? Where is the money going? Freaking Theives!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

With all the lawsuits and having to pay for a new golden calf JW.ORG and the other stuff.....they can't afford to loose people. It is no wonder why they are selling off so much of there properties.
