Don't count out the will to live though. My wife's grandfather was told he had days to live, and he died 9 years later. I hope your mom can keep her spirits up.

And looking at the MRI, seeing the healthy brain areas, cartilidge, other inner details were not troubling. In fact, everything looked so beautiful where it was all healthy. Like an Ansel Adams photo, very powerful in black and white
And in the middle, a grotesque secret. Going thru the progressive series it was like seeing a strange and awful silent movie: a curtain raise to reveal wretched ugliness, and then close back again.

I just saw your thread on your Mom. I knew about your Mom, as you now, through our correspondence, but didn't know you had posted it. I was going to ask you if it would be alright to post about her, and ask for prayers, then I decided to look back and see if you posted, and I found it.
