In turn Saul gave him Mi´chal his daughter as a wife.

  My favorite is 2 Kings 2:23-24 where Elisha calls on god to slaughter 42 children with a she-bear when they mock his bald head. Lo and behold, the all-loving god complies!

  2:23 And he went up from thence unto Bethel: and as he was going up by the way, there came forth little children out of the city, and mocked him, and said unto him, Go up, thou bald head; go up, thou bald head.

  Again another person not understanding an account due to the lack of reading in context! Lets look at some verses that preceed those given by you.

  Now Mi´chal, Saul’s daughter, was in love with David, and they went reporting it to Saul, and the matter was to his liking. 21 So Saul said: “I shall give her to him that she may serve as a snare to him, and that the hand of the Phi·lis´tines may come to be upon him.”

  You say how would someone feel if they were sold for 100 forskins? According to verse 20 she was ALREADY SECRETELY in love with David. So I am sure she didnt mind. Sauls INTENT was NOT to give his daughter to David, for he HATED david. His intent is right there in the scriptures.

  “I shall give her to him that she may serve as a snare to him." verse 20.

  "But as for Saul, he had schemed to have David fall by the hand of the Phi·lis´tines." Verse 25.

  Saul was HOPEING and COUNTING on David being KILLED by the philistines.

  According to verse 20 she was ALREADY SECRETELY in love with David. So I am sure she didnt mind.

  The scripture does say she was already in love with him. But that does not necessarily mean she didn't mind being traded for the forekins of 100 Philestines.

  Then again, we are talking about the Middle East here.

  Again another person not understanding an account due to the lack of reading in context! Lets look at some verses that preceed those given by you.

  I understand the context well enough. I was merely practicing my Watchtower induced skill of deliberately taking scriptures out of context when it suits my purposes.

  You've got to admit, the guy must have had some serious mental problems to even think of such a thing! FORESKINS!!! What the hell was he gonna do with them???

  AGAIN finally he didnt ACTUALLY WANT the foreskins! He figured David would be killed by the very ones he was trying to get the foreskins from.

  Perhaps we just don't understand how your rationale excuses them from even the consideration of such a gruesome act.

  I wonder where he got the idea for this. It couldn't have been from TV or movies, which are places where the WTS says people get their decadent ideas from today. From where did he get this obviously Satan-inspired idea? Was he cavorting with evil spirits to influence him in such a way? Only evil could have placed such a horrific idea in his mind.
